Not much in the pastel forum so I thought I'd add one I did recently. Come on pastel people, put some stuff in here!

This is lovely Ruthie! Yes we don't seem to have many pastel people on here do we! They must all be quite shy! icon_flower

Marie. I wasn't suggesting you started a blog!! This forum is for you to post threads showing pastel work you've done. This thread is just for my Lion. If I decide to post another pic I'll put it in a new thread. A forum isn't really the place for blogs IMO.

isn't it? Well we don't learn from seeing finished paintings only do we? I thought that the forums where also there to help each other and not only to show the finished product, but heho, that'e my opinion.

and it' Marie-Jeanne btw. What is the problem that people have with hyphenated names? scratch

Hi Marie-Jeanne. Sorry I got your name wrong and I didn't intend to upset you either.

I completely agree with you that the LAC forum is not just for showing finished artwork. There are WIPs and other discusssions on here too. Looking at other peoples finished artwork or showing your own, and reading the comments and critiques, is also a great way to learn. There are loads of threads on this forum that I have learned from.

All I was suggesting really is that you don't need to have another blog to join in the pastel, or any other, forum.
I also found it a little strange that you commented on this thread without actually commenting on the subject of it scratch
